Bits and Pieces of Gratefulness

At some point in life, we all experience a light of enlightenment. Sometimes, the blink of a light bulb will make one feel more grateful than usual. Especially when they’re special.

Every time I get on the internet, I open the news, email and Facebook on my browser. Sometimes, the individuals I share a life with on the cyber-world surprises me with either a heartwarming or disheartened surprise. …the reminder of City of Ten Thousand Buddhas/Developing Virtue Girl’s School… A photo from a familiar setting, a description of a spontaneous dialogue, or a post about their daily life… can make me vulnerable. I either become happy that what I have participated with my valuable time helped me grow into a better person, or become sad that I did not use my time wisely when I was where I was. If any of this makes sense to you, I will thank you, because you may have been my companion or you are simply a compassionate individual. Life at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhist was bittersweet. I learned, I grew, and I developed. I teared, I laughed, I hated, and I loved. The environment, the weather, the animals, and the people. The City, the monastery, and the school. The DHARMA and DRAMA. I am having trouble finishing this post, so I will end it with this: I’m grateful for my experiences…(my love-hate relationship.)
